The Basic Building Blocks of Everything

Image
The Basic Building Blocks of Everything Modern Science had helped us to know that Everything that exists are made of simple basic building blocks called Atoms.  Many atoms combine to form Molecules.  Atoms with similar structure and properties are said to be belong to certain type of Element.  Through this article I going to explain what is an atom , a molecule and an element. What is an atom? The term 'atom' comes from the Greek word 'atomos', meaning 'indivisible'.  Earlier, it was considered that atoms were the smallest unit of a substance and could not be split further.  Today,we know that atoms can be further split into smaller particles.  An atom is made up of the atomic nucleus, which consists of positively charged protons and an equal number of neutrons, and atomic shells.  These are occupied by negatively charged electrons, which move at high speeds around the atomic nucleus-like planets around the sun. What is Consciousness?

CONSCIOUSNESS When you watch your favourite TV show or your favourite movie, sometimes you may forget about what snack you eat and sometimes even forget that you were eating something.  Most of us had heard someone telling 'Be Conscious'.  But what is Consciousness?  Why we need to be Conscious?  If you had checked in dictionaries, you would have known consciousness is the state of being aware of and responsible to our surroundings.  But how it works and why should we be aware of our surroundings?   Consciousness had been evolving in living organisms from tiny single celled organisms to humans and other different forms of life.  Some micro organisms doesn't have consciousness, they just wander over their environment and eat the food they need.  These tiny single celled creatures did not move in a defined direction for a particular reason.  They don't have an idea about their surroundings and their position in the environment.  ...

Why do we all have to die? Like birth, death too is a part of our life. When we think about it, our mind conjures up images of cemeteries and old people. But death can also come to young people, through illness or accidents.  The way bereavement is handled differs from person to person, and from culture to culture.  Many also argue in favour of euthanasia, or mercy killing, in situations where a person is in a permanent state of coma or in extreme pain and agony due to an incurable disease. What happens when people become old? People get wrinkles on the skin and gray hair when they grow old. The actual ageing process takes place inside the body.  The efficiency of the body cells goes down over the years.  At some point of time, muscles start shrinking, sense organs like the eye and ear grow weak, and the body's general energy level dips.  Many old people appear confuse: others remain alert till the end.  In some cultures, old people take leave ...
